Our client, a global leader in cloud computing and technology infrastructure, is seeking a Data Center Environmental Permitting Program Manager to join their team. As a Data Center Environmental Permitting Program Manager, you will be part of the Land Development Department supporting Data Center Development, Environmental, Design, Construction, Operations, and Sustainability Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to drive complex projects in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $83.22 - $89.63/hour
What’s the Job?
- Manage environmental permitting, approvals, and due diligence activities supporting Microsoft data center development projects.
- Coordinate environmental risk assessments, site evaluations, and remediation planning for greenfield and brownfield sites.
- Lead environmental consultants and support the delivery of regulatory approvals, surveys, and compliance-related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, design, construction, operations, sustainability, and permitting stakeholders.
- Track permit timelines, identify project risks, and support environmental compliance readiness throughout construction and operational turnover.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental permitting, compliance, due diligence, or environmental project management.
- At least 5 years of experience managing environmental permits, impact assessments, and regulatory approvals across the Americas.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and programs, including environmental site assessments, remediation, USACE Section 404, SPCC, RCRA, and air quality permitting.
- Demonstrated experience managing consultants, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering complex infrastructure projects on schedule.
