Custodian / Property Cleaner
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our residential property. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while ensuring all assigned areas are kept clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, laundry rooms, storage areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the property.
- Dust furniture, walls, equipment, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Clean and prepare vacant apartment units for new residents, ensuring units are move-in ready.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or repairs needed to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
Requirements
- Must be punctual and report to work on time every day.
- Must be dependable, responsible, and able to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on duty.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
