Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock records, and ensure accurate order processing.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, adhering to quality standards and packaging guidelines.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick access.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems like AS400.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by maintaining a clean, safe environment and following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or similar logistics setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar ERP systems.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring quantities, and processing orders accurately.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and load/unload operations.
