The Payroll Analyst Quality Assurance primary responsibilities are assisting with Payroll training, policies, procedures, systems support regarding the payroll/time keeping systems and onboarding new communities and validating system integrity. Assist management with other payroll related auditing, processing, and/or reporting. Acts as Payroll Liaison with inter department projects.

What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for the processing of bi-weekly retirement community payroll(s).
- Responsible for the submitting weekly, monthly, and quarterly tax files to ADP for community payrolls.
- Maintain federal, state, and local payroll tax records. Submit federal, state, and local tax files to ADP. Assist in reconciling tax accounts, annual reports, and other tax requirements.
- Understand and administer company policies relating to payroll compliance adhering the federal, state, and local regulations. Assist in designing, implementing, maintaining payroll processing tools and participating in QA committee meetings
- Audit employee data and various Payroll related Reports, Reconciliations, and Worksheets. Designing and implementing auditing processes for payroll department. Tracking all Audit finds and reviewing them with managers
- Assists in third party system implementations providing ongoing support.
- Works with IT support on systems issues. Organizing periodic testing of system updates/upgrades.
- Works with other departments on pay-related issues.
- Provides management, employees, and HR with information as requested.
Provide backup assistance to entire payroll team as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum associate degree in accounting and/or related experience.
- 4-6 years of payroll experience in a complex multi-state organization.
- CPP certification required (may attain credential within 2 years of employment)
- Knowledge of payroll laws and tax reporting regulations required.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud system.
- Experience with time keeping systems.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet all deadlines.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work with little supervision, taking initiative in tasks that need to be done and using good judgment in making routine decisions.
