Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic restaurant team! Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards
- Assist in managing staff schedules, training new team members, and supervising team performance to ensure high-quality service
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food handling procedures to uphold health standards
- Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining quality standards
- Lead shift management activities, including resolving customer concerns promptly and efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings with a strong background in food service management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team leadership, and managing hospitality teams
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and financial reconciliation
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills in inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop staff through training & development initiatives
- Previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience is highly preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
- Safe/ Serv or equivalent certification.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
