Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to keep all office areas spotless.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness by sanitizing sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies regularly.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to ensure floors remain durable and attractive.
- Handle janitorial tasks with efficiency, including window cleaning, surface disinfecting, and clutter removal across common areas.
- Assist with light custodial maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs to support overall facilities upkeep.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment for all staff and visitors.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management for swift resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices.
- Prior porter or custodial experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
