Position will provide materials planning and purchasing support for product manufacturing.
Essential functions/duties:
- Analyze inventory (raw materials) levels to determine stock goals and targeted turns.
- Determine optimal inventory levels and order frequency for supporting production.
- Participate with reviews and audits of suppliers and vendors.
- Generate all purchase orders for materials and supplies in support of production and office functions.
- Support receiving of materials, including invoice review against PO (quantity and cost).
- Identify and minimize obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate cost reviews and cost reductions of materials on a regular basis.
- Participate in the review of nonconforming materials and their disposition.
- Coordinate the acquisition of new suppliers and materials as needed.
- Follow-up (as required) with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule.
- Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory.
- Assist with management of vendor files.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate business discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5 years materials planning at a manufacturing facility.
- 5 years of supplier negotiation.
- 5 years of working with ERP system.
- Supply Chain Certifications (APICS, CSCMP, etc.) a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
