Duties
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move stock safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by loading, unloading, and inspecting incoming and outgoing shipment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately using order pickers and other tools to fulfill customer orders promptly
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access for order picking
- Prepare packages with appropriate materials ensuring products are secure for transit while maintaining quality standards
- Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with team members to meet daily productivity goals
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with knowledge of warehouse management
- Certification in forklift operation, reach truck driving, or pallet jack handling is highly preferred
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and stock management techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order quantities
- Experience with Foodservice specifically produce is preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols including load & unload procedures and proper equipment handling
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
