Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrator IOP to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves overseeing the administrative operations of Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), ensuring seamless coordination between clinical staff, patients, and external agencies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management, healthcare administration, and team supervision. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, managing financial aspects, and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative functions within the IOP, including scheduling, patient intake, and record keeping
- Supervise medical administrative staff, providing guidance on workflow, compliance, and customer service standards
- Oversee billing processes, coding accuracy, and insurance claims using systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and other healthcare compliance policies to protect patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with clinical teams to facilitate efficient patient management using EMR/EHR systems and patient management software
- Monitor fiscal activities including budgeting, financial management experience, and resource allocation for the program
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare practice management standards and health regulation policies
Skills
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
- Strong supervisory skills with experience managing healthcare teams and staff in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and financial management within healthcare practices
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and managed care policies
- Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate between providers, patients, and external agencies
- Ability to handle complex medical terminology and maintain accurate medical records
- Experience in clinic or hospital environments with acute or critical care background preferred
- Competence in office management tools like Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes
