We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
- Implement FPGA designs utilizing SystemVerilog, Simulink, and other hardware description languages for high-performance applications.
- Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures or system malfunctions to identify issues efficiently and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical components with mechanical systems, ensuring seamless system design and functionality.
- Perform debugging and testing of firmware using languages like C++, Python, Perl, and scripting tools; utilize instruments such as ohmmeters for measurements.
- Support manufacturing processes by applying surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and quality inspection methods like vision inspection systems.
- Develop detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery of milestones while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience with FPGA development, SystemVerilog, MATLAB, and Simulink for hardware modeling.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design principles using CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit; experience with Schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical standards including NEC (National Electrical Code) and industry manufacturing practices.
- Hands-on experience with signal processing techniques, firmware development, debugging tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Mechanical knowledge related to surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and mechanical integration is advantageous.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Perl for scripting automation and data analysis.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in complex system environments. Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
