Reputable 20-attorney Insurance Defense Litigation Firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a highly-skilled, REMOTE RESEARCH & WRITING ATTORNEY with 1-5 years experience to join its team. (100% REMOTE but you MUST live in FL!).
Our firm represents a variety of insurance carriers and business, handling the defense of Bodily Injury, First Party Property, Insurance Fraud and other Insurance Coverage matters.
We will consider brand new 1st year attorney candidates with no litigation experience.
This is the perfect position for a new attorney; or a 2 to 5 year litigation attorney who is looking to work remotely for a position that is stressful than litigating the files; or someone who loves research and writing as opposed to litigating the files.
IDEAL CANDIDATE will have some litigation experience; as well as strong academic credentials; a desire and aptitude for legal research and writing; strong legal research skills using West Law and Lexis; and someone who actually enjoys writing. In this role, you'll be drafting a lot of Declaratory Judgment briefs related to insurance coverage disputes and/or contract interpretation.
SALARY: $80,000 to $100,000 (depending on years of experience, direct experience, and strength of your writing).
3 WRITING SAMPLES WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO SCHEDULING YOUR INTERVIEW.
