American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, prior travel experience, and night shift availability.

Work in the Medical ICU (MICU) of an acute care hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)

ICU patient population with a focus on neurological and ventilator-dependent patients
-
Epic EMR experience preferred
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
-
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Proficiency in neuro nursing and comfort with ventilator management required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and positive outcomes
-
Perform discharge planning and patient/family education on illness management and injury prevention

Navy scrubs required

No travel pairs or groups accepted

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler

RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
