Overview
The Sales Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth sales operations. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks, data management, and customer support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, managing sales documents, coordinating sales meetings and sales events, and supporting the planning and execution of PADs and other account activations.
- Data Entry and Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales and account data within CRM and related systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility.
- Order Processing: Process and support sales orders from entry through fulfillment, including order entry, product allocation, order tracking, fulfillment coordination, delivery preparation, invoicing, and communication regarding order status or changes.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer and account inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate information and coordinating internally as needed to resolve issues.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tracking and coordination to support sales orders, fulfillment needs, account commitments, and adequate product availability.
- Reporting: Generate sales and operational reports, review sales data, and help identify trends, opportunities, account needs, and areas requiring follow-up.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a sales support or administrative role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
