Job description:
Lisanti Foodservice of Texas is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our growing foodservice distribution operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting with order entry, delivery coordination, issue resolution, and general account support while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, deliveries, invoices, credits, and account information
- Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and sales teams to resolve delivery or product issues
- Communicate shipping updates, delays, and service changes to customers in a professional manner
- Issue credits and process adjustments when necessary
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Assist customers with product availability and substitutions
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer requests promptly
- Support internal departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold company standards for professionalism, accuracy, and customer service
- Input customer orders, which can be up to 200 items per order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred, ideally in foodservice, distribution, logistics, or related industries
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order entry systems
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
