We are seeking an experienced Patient Access Representative to join an outpatient clinic in Yuba City, CA. This role is responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling support, and ensuring accurate patient information for quality care.
Patient Access Representative – Outpatient Clinic (8-Week Contract)
Location: Yuba City, CA
Pay: $22.50/hour (Local Candidates Only)
Contract: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week
Start Date: 08/10/2026
Requirements
- EPIC experience is REQUIRED
- Previous experience in Patient Registration, Patient Access, Medical Reception, or Front Desk in a healthcare setting
- Experience with insurance verification and patient demographics
- Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Register patients accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance eligibility and authorization information
- Collect patient responsibility payments and obtain required signatures
- Review physician orders and attach documentation to patient records
- Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
