The Role:
As an Assistant Teacher in our Two's classroom, you are a pivotal part of our educational mission. You will:
- Collaborate & Support: Partner with the Lead Teacher to implement our signature play-based curriculum, managing the unique rhythm, transitions, and high energy of a two-year-old classroom.
- Foster Independence & Discovery: Help create a warm environment that encourages language development, social-emotional growth, and early independence (including patient guidance through potty training and self-help skills).
- Bring Creativity to Life: Assist in preparing engaging, hands-on classroom materials and sensory activities that cater to the active, exploratory nature of two-year-olds.
- Ensure Safety & Joy: Maintain a clean, safe, well-organized, and deeply nurturing classroom where every child feels secure, seen, and celebrated.
What You Bring to the Team:
- A deep passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for the toddler/two's age group.
- A patient, resilient, nurturing, and energetic personality capable of keeping up with active toddlers.
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with young children, preferably in a structured, play-based toddler or two's environment.
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a positive attitude toward team-teaching.
- Current TB clearance, valid fingerprint card, current Food Handler, and CPR/First Aid certs a plus.
