American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience (5 preferred) for a Level II Trauma acute care hospital setting, requiring ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications.

Work in the CT department of a 370-bed acute care, Level II teaching hospital
-
Procedures include abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, enterography, IVP, colorectal studies, brain perfusion, head and neck (carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head), spine and musculoskeletal (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), chest (with/without contrast, pulmonary embolism CTA, aorta), and special vascular procedures

Work settings include the Emergency Department and Level II Trauma Center

Equipment used includes Siemens CT scanners and PACS

Charting in Epic (experience required)

5x8 hour evening shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required; 5+ years preferred

Current ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required

Community hospital experience required
-
Level II Trauma Center experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Proficiency with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), region of interest (ROI) measurement, image display and post-processing, and PACS
-
Skills required include preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and starting peripheral IVs

Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred

License required if applicable
