Position Description
The Regional Enterprise Operations Director is a senior-level role responsible for providing strategic oversight and operational direction across a portfolio of concessionaire contracts in four key markets: San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, and Sacramento. This individual serves as the primary point of accountability for contract performance, renewal strategy, financial outcomes, and youth workforce development across all sites. The Regional Enterprise Operations Director works closely with site leaders to drive consistency, operational efficiency, and effectiveness while maintaining strong relationships with concessionaire partners and internal senior leadership.
This role requires a dynamic, results-driven leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational management. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, analytical thinker, and collaborative partner who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Duties and Responsibilities

Contract Renewal Planning & Strategy
- Take full ownership of developing detailed and strategic renewal plans for each concessionaire contract well in advance of expiration dates
- Develop a concessionaire renewal strategy that defines the engagement approach, negotiation plan, performance outlook, profit-sharing terms, key risks and opportunities, and renewal timeline.
- Maintain a living document for each renewal plan that is updated regularly as new information becomes available or circumstances change
- Ensure all renewal plans are fully always documented and accessible to senior leadership
Senior Leadership Engagement & Reporting
- Schedule and lead regular renewal plan review sessions with senior leadership to ensure full organizational alignment and executive awareness
- Present the status of each contract renewal plan in a structured and concise format, clearly communicating:

- Maintain open and transparent communication with senior leadership between formal review sessions, providing real-time updates on any significant developments or changes in contract status
- Develop ready executive materials, including briefing documents, presentations, and summary reports that support informed decision-making at the leadership level
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive bi-monthly (or as needed) presentations to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders that provide a complete and transparent view of contract execution performance
Event Coverage, Performance Management & Cost Reduction
- Work closely with site leaders to develop staffing plans that ensure adequate and appropriate event coverage across all markets
- Review and analyze event performance data on an ongoing basis to identify trends, successes, and areas requiring corrective action
- Collaborate with site leaders to develop and implement performance improvement plans where gaps are identified
- Drive a culture of cost consciousness across all sites by identifying opportunities to reduce operational expenses without compromising the quality of service or the experience of youth participants
- Lead cost reduction initiatives, including labor optimization, supply chain efficiencies, scheduling improvements, and vendor negotiations
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for each site and hold site leaders accountable to meeting or exceeding those benchmarks
- Recognize and share best practices from high-performing sites and implement them organization-wide to raise the overall performance baseline
- Ensure that youth participants are receiving meaningful, high-quality work experience at every event, in alignment with the organization's mission and contractual commitments
