About Even Ground
Even Ground is a startup nonprofit built on a simple belief:
people need a stable foundation before they can move forward.
Our mission is to partner with people to create that foundation—connecting them to housing and the basic needs of life.
We’re creating a space where people can land, reset, and take their next step—with support that helps them move forward, not just get by.
We’re early, which means we’re building something that actually reflects the people we serve.
The Role
We’re looking for a Housing Program Manager to help bring this to life.
You’ll be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the home—making sure things are organized, clients are supported, and the program is moving forward.
You’ll also be managing Housing Support Staff—setting expectations, providing direction, and holding the day-to-day accountable.
This is part-time (up to 25 hours/week) with room to grow as we grow.
An entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mindset are important in this role. You’re stepping into something being built from the ground up, so we’re looking for someone who can take initiative, make decisions, and follow through—without needing to be managed closely.

- Keeping documentation clean, organized, and up to date
- Coordinating move-ins and move-outs

- Experience working with individuals navigating housing instability or major life transitions
- Comfortable using systems (Google Workspace, Airtable or similar)

- You’re comfortable making decisions and solving problems
- You can lead people and hold expectations
- You’ve worked in environments that required you to figure things out
