Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocking Supervisor to oversee inventory flow, deliveries, merchandising, and product rotation while also supporting kitchen prep and front-end cashier operations. This leadership role ensures shelves and coolers remain fully stocked, organized, and compliant with freshness standards while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Management
- Receive and verify vendor deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Oversee proper stocking of shelves, coolers, and storage areas
- Ensure products are rotated using FIFO (First In, First Out) standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate reordering needs
- Maintain organized backstock and storage areas
- Ensure all out-of-date products are pulled promptly
- Coordinate with vendor representatives to document and process credits for outdated or damaged items
- Maintain clean, full, and customer-ready merchandising displays
Kitchen Support
- Assist with food preparation and proper food rotation
- Follow food safety, labeling, and sanitation standards
- Support the Kitchen Manager during busy periods
- Help maintain prep areas and kitchen organization
Front-End / Customer Service
- Operate cash register accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Assist customers with questions and product location
- Support team members during peak hours
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, convenience store, or food service experience preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory control and product rotation
- Leadership mindset with the ability to take ownership of stock operations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented, especially with expiration tracking and credits
- Ability to multitask between stocking, cashiering, and kitchen duties
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in cooler/freezer environments
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience and leadership ability.
Pay: $11.50 - $17.00 per hour
