American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Operating Room position requiring a NH or compact RN license and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.

Work in one of five Operating Room suites, with a sixth located in the labor and delivery department

Diverse patient population including inpatients and outpatients of all ages, from infant to geriatric
-
Surgical services primarily focused on orthopedics and trauma, with additional cases in ENT, cataract removal, and C-sections
-
Training provided for ENT, cataract, and C-section procedures if not previously experienced
-
OR team includes RNs, registered nurse first assists, CSTs, and other assistive personnel
-
RN to patient ratio of 1:1

Day shift schedule at 40 hours per week

Call requirements include evenings, holidays, and weekends

Active NH or compact RN license required

BLS certification required

Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Provide perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical, diagnostic, and invasive procedures

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team to deliver patient care within surgical services

Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered
