Ideal Candidate for ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR:
- Friendly, approachable personality
- Fun, energetic, positive, outgoing
- Ability to be on your feet and on-the-go majority of the day
- Patient
- Good communication skills
- Experience with seniors a plus
Tasks to Serve Residents as ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR:
- Design and implement busy activities calendar
- Assist residents with activities
- Encourage participation in activities (i.e., entertainment, shopping, guest speakers)
- Set up and run a wide variety of games and activities
- Schedule events, performances, day trips, etc.
- Decorate for holidays and special events
