Beauty & Spa On The Go is a luxury 100% mobile spa service based in the Coachella Valley. We specialize in providing high-end, on-location spa experiences for vacation guests, special events, and local clients in the comfort of their homes, vacation rentals, and hotels.
We are currently seeking a professional, reliable, and skilled Mobile Massage Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). This role is ideal for therapists who are passionate about delivering exceptional service, enjoy working in a team environment, and are comfortable traveling to various locations.
Position Type

- Flexible, per-appointment scheduling
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses
- A Form 1099 will be issued at the end of the year
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality massage services (Swedish, Deep Tissue, and customized sessions such as Fusion Bliss) tailored to each client
- Travel to client locations (homes, vacation rentals, hotels) throughout the Coachella Valley
- Arrive 15–20 minutes prior to appointment time for setup
- Set up and break down professional equipment efficiently
- Perform brief client consultations prior to each service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing environment
- Deliver a luxury-level spa experience with professionalism and attention to detail
- Communicate clearly with the team regarding scheduling and updates
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid California Massage Therapy Certification (CAMTC) or applicable license
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred
- Must carry active liability insurance and be able to list Beauty & Spa On The Go, LLC as additionally insured
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques (customization skills are a plus)
- Professional appearance and excellent hygiene standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Equipment Requirements
Therapists must provide their own professional equipment, including:
- High-quality massage table in excellent condition
- Clean, professional linens (plain black sheets sets required)
- Oils, lotions, and all necessary supplies (including essential oils)
- Sanitation materials
Confidentiality & Professional Conduct
As a representative of Beauty & Spa On The Go, all therapists are expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
- Respect and protect client privacy at all times
- Do not share, discuss, or disclose any client information, location details, or experiences outside of the service
- No posting of clients, locations, or events on personal social media without prior approval
- Maintain professional boundaries and demeanor at all times
- Do not solicit or promote personal services to clients obtained through Beauty & Spa On The Go
- All client relationships and bookings remain the property of Beauty & Spa On The Go
Any breach of confidentiality or client solicitation may result in immediate termination of contract.
