About the Position
As our Early Preschool Lead Teacher, you’ll work with children ages 2.5–3.5 years, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing enriching lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards
- Creating authentic learning experiences through play
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Providing attentive, high-quality care
- Maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom environment
- Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff
- Serving as a positive and encouraging leader in the classroom
Schedule: Candidates must be available 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Milestones Early Learning — Jenison
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50–$19.00/hour
What We’re Looking For

Required and preferred qualifications include:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare center
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred, OR a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Professional experience in early childhood or elementary education
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check
