Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions
- Assist guests with reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests
- Address guest concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service problem-solving skills to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and room assignments
- Support night audit procedures by reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports for management
- Follow hotel emergency procedures confidently to ensure guest safety at all times
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and sales teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Promote hotel amenities and services to maximize guest engagement and satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone using proper phone etiquette
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
- Experience with night audit processes and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality reservation systems and property management software is a plus
