We're looking for an experienced, compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to join our brand-new medical practice in Hollywood, Florida.
This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing practice. Initially, the position will be approximately 5–6 days per month, with the expectation that hours will increase as our patient volume grows. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping build something from the beginning and wants the opportunity to grow with us.

Duties
- Welcome and room patients, obtaining vital signs and documenting medical history.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist the physician during orthopedic evaluations and procedures.
- Apply and remove braces, splints, casts, and durable medical equipment (training provided if needed).
- Prepare patients for injections, aspirations, and in-office procedures.
- Obtain and upload imaging reports and assist with X-ray coordination as needed.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, imaging, physical therapy, and follow-up appointments.
- Answer patient phone calls, respond to messages, and provide excellent customer service in both English and Spanish.
- Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the physician and team to deliver efficient, compassionate orthopedic care.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical assistant experience preferred
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- EMR experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, dependable, and a team player
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing practice
