Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a love for flowers, capable of creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with fellow designers and management. We need someone creative, good natured, self motivated but also able to take direction, someone with the ability to create an arrangement based on customers specific requests but who can also follow a recipe for our pre-designed arrangements on the website. At this time experience is not necessary as we are willing to train the right person on the job. If you have ever thought about working in the floral industry this is your opportunity!
Duties
- Designing beautiful floral arrangements for various events, weddings, and retail sales.
- Collaborate with Sales team to determine their floral needs and preferences of customer's requests.
- Maintain the quality and freshness of flowers and plants in the shop.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interactions with fellow employees.
- General knowledge of flowers and plants is helpful.
