Leasing Agent – Real Estate
Location: North Charleston, SC

We are seeking motivated and professional Leasing Agents to assist with leasing operations and tenant relations for residential rental properties in North Charleston, SC .
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced property management environment.
Responsibilities:
- Market and advertise vacant rental units
- Respond to leasing inquiries promptly
- Schedule and conduct property showings
- Assist prospective tenants with applications and screening
- Coordinate lease signings, renewals, and move-ins
- Maintain communication with current and prospective tenants
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and unpaid balances
- Coordinate with management regarding notices and lease compliance
- Maintain accurate leasing and tenant records in AppFolio
Skills Needed:
- Customer service and communication skills
- Sales and leasing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws preferred
- Strong organization and follow-up
- Basic computer and mobile app skills
- Ability to multitask and manage schedules
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Vacant units leased within 30 days
- Fast response time to tenant and prospect inquiries
- Tenant satisfaction and retention
- Accurate and timely lease processing
- Delinquency follow-up completed within required timelines
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and responsive
- Real estate or property management experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
