The Digital Marketing Specialist (T-Shaped Marketer) plays a crucial role in the Complete Marketing Team (CMT), contributing a wide range of digital marketing skills to enhance client success. This role involves managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, supporting the CMT Squad Leader in client account management, and ensuring effective local SEO and directory management. The Digital Marketing Specialist (T-Shaped Marketer) is expected to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing, ensuring that all strategies are cutting-edge and data-driven.
Key Roles
- Assistant Account Management: Support the CMT Squad Leader in managing client accounts by providing insights, preparing reports, and assisting in strategic planning.
- Digital Marketing Specialist: Develop, manage, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, GA4, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other emerging platforms.
- Local SEO and Directory Management: Implement and manage local SEO strategies, ensuring accurate business listings across Google Maps and directories.
- Cross-Functional Collaborator: Work closely with Content Specialists, Graphic Designers, SEO Specialists, and the CMT Squad Leader to deliver integrated marketing solutions that meet client goals.
- Continuous Learner and Innovator: Stay updated on digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, ensuring that all strategies remain competitive and effective.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and regular updates. Engage directly with clients to ensure their needs are met and to provide them with insights on campaign performance and strategic recommendations.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the execution and optimization of paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and emerging platforms like TikTok. Manage social media advertising strategies to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and client goals.
- Email Marketing: Create and manage targeted email marketing campaigns, ensuring they are strategically aligned with the customer journey and designed to drive engagement and conversions. Analyze email campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness.
- Content Integration and Development: Collaborate with Content Specialists to produce high-quality content that aligns with broader marketing campaigns. Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines and integrated effectively across digital platforms.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using tools like GA4 to extract actionable insights. Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
- Customer Journey Optimization: Analyze and optimize the customer journey, ensuring that all touch points are aligned with the client’s overall marketing strategy and contribute to improved customer engagement and conversion rates. Work with the CMT Squad Leader to implement strategies that enhance the customer experience across digital platforms.
- Project Management: Manage multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring all are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Prioritize tasks effectively, especially under tight deadlines, to meet client and team objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve marketing strategies and team performance, ensuring that all tactics are up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Pursue ongoing professional development, including maintaining relevant certifications and expanding knowledge of new marketing tools and technologies.
Essential Qualifications
Experience
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on managing campaigns across multiple platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other emerging platforms.
- Proven experience in local SEO and directory management.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using tools like GA4 and other analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of email marketing, including the creation and management of targeted campaigns and the use of marketing automation tools.
- High level of organization and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
Location & Work Arrangement
- This position is not fully remote and requires regular on-site presence. Candidates must currently reside in or around the Greater Columbia, South Carolina area.
Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
