NAVIX Diagnostix is seeking an experienced Vascular Technologist / Sonographer to join our growing team in Trumbull, Connecticut. This is a part-time position working Mondays and Tuesdays during daytime hours.
In this role, you will perform a wide range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations that support accurate diagnoses and positive patient outcomes. Working closely with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams, you will utilize advanced vascular imaging skills to produce high-quality diagnostic studies while delivering exceptional patient care.
You'll have the opportunity to perform a diverse range of vascular studies, including cerebrovascular, arterial, venous, and visceral vascular examinations, allowing you to fully utilize and expand your vascular imaging expertise.
This position offers a high level of professional autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with physicians while exercising your clinical judgment and vascular expertise. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking skills, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will:

Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, including cerebrovascular, arterial, venous, and visceral vascular studies

Obtain and review patient history and clinical information to support accurate diagnostic interpretation

Produce high-quality ultrasound images and related data in accordance with NAVIX and client protocols

Recognize significant or life-threatening abnormalities and communicate findings appropriately to the medical team

Maintain equipment, documentation, supplies, and regulatory compliance requirements while supporting a safe and efficient patient care environment

Collaborate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care

Ensure patient and employee safety while maintaining compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
-
Active RVT, RVS, or RT(VS) credential
-
Current BLS certification
-
Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams

Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards

Minimum of two years of non-invasive vascular ultrasound experience

Experience performing a broad range of vascular diagnostic studies
