Overview
The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relations assigned to their book of business. The AM will work directly with their assigned production manager to ensure customer expectations are being exceeded by communicating with their customers on a regular basis, producing high end work in a safe manner and having an attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent interaction with the assigned customer contacts.
- Work thoroughly to strengthen and grow customer relations.
- Propose ancillary work throughout the season and created capital improvement plans with customers accordingly.
- Manage labor spend, contractor and material expense on each property throughout the season.
- Update estimates annually and make changes as needed based off actuals.
- Manage renewals and ensure customer information is kept up to date
- Visit job sites on a regular basis.
- Schedule jobsite walks with customers as needed.
- Manage turf applications with the customer and provide all necessary SDS documentation at the onset of the season.
- Manage snow operations within the branch, operating equipment, and organize snow documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the landscape maintenance industry with experience in leading a team of 20+ employees.
- Plant knowledge and identification, and experience in plant care
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate all machines and equipment in the mowing division.
- Ability to identify issues on customer sites and find immediate solutions.
- Ability to write detailed work instructions.
