Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to promoting independence and dignity for those they serve. Hours include 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and budgeting
- Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals through tailored programs.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes social interaction and community involvement.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Operate company vehicle to provide transportation for the adults enrolled in the Day Program
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their lives.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is a plus but not required.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening as required by state regulations.
- Must have GED or High School Diploma
- Must be 21 years or older to apply
- Must have valid AR Driver's License
