Responsibilities:
- Ensure positive engagement of customers, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere.
- Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, feeding, grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, and other personal care needs.
- Ensure participants are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times.
- Maintain open communication with nurses, supervisors, caregivers, transportation staff, and other interdisciplinary team members regarding participant needs and concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of participant information in compliance with HIPAA requirements.
- Encourage participant participation in center activities and social interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A friendly, respectful, and energetic personality with a genuine passion for serving older adults.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to be cross-trained and assist in various areas as needed.
- A strong desire to grow within the senior care industry, with a commitment to learning and achieving performance goals.
- Team player with flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.
