Duties
- Deliver tailored instruction in subjects such as mathematics, English language arts, science, and test preparation, including SAT coaching and early childhood education.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning styles and educational needs.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring a safe, organized, and supportive environment for students from various cultural backgrounds.
- Plan lessons that incorporate instructional adaptability and cater to individual learning paces.
- Support students with special education needs by implementing appropriate strategies and accommodations.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to teach math, English language arts, science, or test preparation courses such as SATs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with students of different ages and backgrounds.
- Experience utilizing learning technology platforms for online instruction or classroom management.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and lesson planning best practices.
- Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with instructional adaptability to meet various learning styles and special education requirements is a plus.
