Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance and repairs for our clients and our vast rental fleet. Linkbelt excavator and Hitachi loader knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heavy construction equipment
- Analyze equipment performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Utilize technical knowledge to interpret schematics and diagnose issues accurately
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on machinery
- Collaborate with clients to ensure efficient operation of equipment
- Document service activities, including parts used and work performed
Qualifications:
- Experience in service or related technical roles
- Proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair construction machinery
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams
- Have a basic background of diesel engines & hydraulic systems
Position Available: Heavy Equipment Technician Summary: Perform repairs on heavy equipment at CMC shop whether it be rental equipment or customer owned equipment. Must be self equipped with hand tools. shop. Employee is to show company pride in their work, their appearance, and their attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour

- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required)
