Scotts Bluff County Extension Office is currently accepting applications for a full-time Secretary II. Work involves performance of complex clerical operations which require the exercise of independent judgment based upon knowledge gained through experience. Work decisions are made in accordance with established precedents and departmental policies. Duties include but are not limited to typing a variety of forms, correspondence and documents; verifying, entering and processing specific legal, financial or client information; and providing direct services to clientele requiring considerable independent action and discretion in disposing of minor problems or questions encountered. General supervision is received from an administrative superior with work reviewed in the form of accuracy, completeness of records and compliance with departmental policies.
Experience with marketing promotion design, conflict resolution, and customer service is preferred.
Must be able to pass criminal background check. Position is available for Veteran’s Preference. Scotts Bluff County is an EEO/AA employer.
