Clean public areas of the resort, guest check in, conference room, public bathrooms etc. Responsible to maintain a level of cleanliness in the housekeeping area and wash, dry and fold all linens in the laundry room. WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred. High school diploma or General Education Degree.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to accurately read and make measurements, such as amount of cleaning solution to use, proportions, percentages and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
