Job Title: Refrigeration Technician
Location: Richmond, VA
Job Summary
Seeking a Refrigeration Technician to test, troubleshoot, and maintain refrigerated display cases. Responsibilities include refrigeration charging, brazing, equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and ensuring products meet performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- EPA 608 Level II or Universal Certification
- 1+ year of HVAC/Refrigeration installation, service, troubleshooting, or manufacturing experience
- Proficient in brazing
- Ability to read piping and electrical schematics
Preferred Skills
- Experience with refrigerated display cases and refrigeration controls
- Knowledge of Dixell, Carel, or similar control boards
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
- HVAC/Refrigeration certification or Journeyman-level experience
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and use power tools
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, temperature changes, and mechanical equipment.
