Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Memory Care setting. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, administering medications, and supporting the overall health and well-being of residents.
Duties :
Residents
- Provides general oversight to resident health care needs.
- Assesses residents' conditions during move in and throughout occupancy.
- Provides information or health topics to residents and staff.
- Schedules resident appointments as needed.
- Provides hands on care to residents as needed.
- Assists with resident activities and helps to transport residents to activities and or meals.
- Administers medications to residents and special treatments as required.
- Staff
- Supervises duties and resident care of nursing assistants.
- Communicates with other department heads as necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Memory Care is preferred.
- Must have current active LPN Florida license by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Must be able to pass an AHCA level 2 background screening.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and vital sign monitoring are essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while providing exceptional patient care.
- Must complete the continued competency requirements for renewal of an active license according to the Florida Board of Nursing and maintain original documentation of completion.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to exert up to 75 lbs, if force occasionally and exert up to 50 lbs of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Must be in designated uniform during working hours.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
