CHAI is accepting applications!! We are hoping to find an experienced, efficient, friendly and skilled professional to join our team. The Technician/Assistant is responsible for interviewing owners in the exam room and completing client approved procedures. Client education and the ability to communicate professionally and politely with clients and fellow staff members is extremely important. Restraint of the pet during examination must be performed using safe handling and fear free techniques. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and organized is required.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining hospital inventory, maintaining hospital equipment, maintaining hospital cleanliness, monitoring & treating hospitalized pets, running routine in-house lab work, assisting in surgery and radiology and caring for hospitalized pets. The ability to work effectively, efficiently and professionally in a stressful and fast paced environment are essential to employment at CHAI.
