We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA or HHA/Caregiver to join our healthcare team. As an aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Duties:
- Perform patient assessments, including gathering medical history and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with various medical procedures, such as cardiac catheterization, ophthalmology exams, and gastric lavage
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Provide patient education on self-care techniques and medication management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Skills:
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques, including vital signs monitoring and physical examinations
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and behavioral health principles
- Experience with IV infusion therapy and medication administration
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of patient information
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Requirements:
- Valid CNA/HHA license in Florida
- CPR certification
- Minimum [2] years of experience as an HHA, CNA
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
