The Opportunity
We are hiring three (3) Commercial/Residential Electricians to serve customers on commercial and residential job sites across central Indiana. You will run your own van/crew, manage daily job execution, and serve as the on-site point of accountability for quality, safety, and schedule. This is a critical leadership role for someone who is ready to stop being managed and start doing the managing.
What You Will Do
- Lead a crew of 2–6 electricians on commercial and residential job sites
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Plan material and manpower requirements for each phase of work
- Ensure all work is completed to code, on schedule, and within budget
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce all OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate with Customers, GCs, project managers, and inspectors
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical direction to apprentices
- Complete daily logs, timesheets, and field documentation accurately
- Maintain and protect all tools and company equipment on site
- Physical job requirements include: utilizing ladders, lifts of various heights, lifting 50+ lbs.
- Service and Install generators
What We Are Looking For
- Master license a strong plus
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical field experience
- 2+ years of being on your own in a van experience
- Proficiency in Romex cabling, residential electrical systems, LV cabling EMT/RMC/PVC/IMC bending- conduit work, MC Cable, panel terminations, and low-voltage systems
- Ability to read and mark up drawings and interpret NEC code requirements
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Reliable transportation to and from work sites within 60 miles of Indianapolis if van is not provided
- Strong communication and accountability mindset, you hold your crew to the same standard you hold yourself
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $30–$38/hour depending on experience and licensure
