NextStep Homebuyer is a real estate investment company. NextStep Homebuyer helps homeowners sell their house the smartest way for their situation. Sometimes that means buying it directly for cash — but more often, we use our concierge selling service to net the seller more than a typical cash offer, while still handling everything for them: the paperwork, finding the buyer, and the entire process start to finish. Either way, the seller gets a simple, stress-free sale and the best possible outcome. We are scaling our acquisitions team. This is a full-time, in-office role in the Irving / DFW area — this is not remote.
We've been doing this nationwide since 2021, with hundreds of deals closed. We recently moved our headquarters from Austin to Dallas — and now we're building the team to grow from here.
We're hiring one closer to start. Not a sales floor of fifty — one sharp, hungry person we can pour into and grow with the company.
What makes this different
- We feed you warm, inbound leads. No cold calling. No door knocking. No prospecting for your own deals. These are motivated sellers who raised their hand and want to talk.
- We handle the analysis. Our underwriting desk runs the numbers and approves the offer while you're still on the call. Your job is the relationship and the close — not spreadsheets.
- Uncapped commission. The better you close, the more you make. There is no ceiling.
- You're in the room with the owner. Direct access, straight answers, and mentorship from someone who's closed hundreds of deals — not a name buried on an org chart.
What you'll actually do
- Call inbound seller leads fast — speed-to-lead is everything here
- Build genuine rapport and understand each seller's real situation
- Walk through the property and the seller's needs, hand off to underwriting, and present the approved cash offer
- Negotiate and lock up signed contracts
- Follow up relentlessly on your pipeline
Who we're looking for
- You can close — whether you've done it for years or you're a natural who just hasn't had the shot yet. Either way, you'll prove it on a live call, not a résumé.
- High energy, competitive, and resilient — a "no" doesn't rattle you
- Coachable — you'll run our proven script and take direction
- Strong work ethic, dependable, and in the office every day
- Real estate experience is a plus but not required — we'll teach you the real estate. We can't teach hunger.
The schedule
In-office, Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm.
Compensation
- $2,000/month base from day one — a floor while you ramp; the real money is in the commission.
- Plus $250 for every qualified contract you sign — paid the same day. Lock three in a day and that's $750 in your pocket that afternoon. Earn while you learn.
- Plus uncapped commission on every closed deal after your intro period — your cut climbs as you grow into the role.
- Realistic first-year earnings of $80K–$150K for solid closers. Our top performers are on track for $200K+.
- This is a performance role. If you want a salary to coast on, this isn't it. If you want to eat what you kill — with warm leads handed to you and the analysis done for you — let's talk.
Where this can go
We're building deliberately — a small, elite acquisitions team, not a churn-and-burn sales floor. The first closers in won't stay "just closers." As we scale, we intend to build the people who walk in now into the leaders who run it. If you want a seat you can grow into something bigger, this is the ground floor.
