Vele is looking for experienced PART TIME line cook that is a self-starter with team work attitude. We don't JUST want people that follow recipes, we are looking for talented and creative chefs that bring their passion for food with them every shift. Job Skills & Requirements:
- Must have or obtain an IL Food Handlers License
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Aptitude for multi-tasking
- Ensure your station is set up and stocked
- Prepare components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces
- Report to the head and sous chefs and follow instructions
- Maintain a clean work station
- Stock inventory and supplies
- Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff
- Show up on time with a positive attitude
