RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Senior Financial Analyst supports financial planning, reporting, forecasting, compliance activities, and operational analysis for a growing organization. This role assists with budgeting, financial modeling, reporting processes, and strategic initiatives while partnering with multiple internal departments.
This is onsite during training and then 3 days work from home!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial forecasts, reporting, and trend analysis related to operational and business performance.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and areas of opportunity.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
- Assist with regulatory compliance reporting and various financial filings.
- Prepare and maintain financial models, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial and operational initiatives.
- Assist with expense analysis, revenue tracking, and capital expenditure reporting.
- Provide support for strategic projects, financial presentations, and business analysis.
- Participate in special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience preferred
- Utilities industry experience preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
