Perk Valley Pet is a locally owned, nutrition-focused pet specialty retailer in Collegeville PA dedicated to helping pets live healthier lives through proper nutrition, education, and exceptional customer service.
We are seeking a full-time Store Manager to run daily operations, lead and develop a team of Assistant Managers and Sales Associates, oversee projects, and ensure a positive experience for both customers and staff. This role is ideal for an experienced retail leader who excels at organization, accountability, coaching, and team development.

Schedule
- Collegeville PA
- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Every other weekend off
- Must be available during store operating hours:
- Monday-Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Operations Management
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth execution of all processes
- Lead, coach, and develop Assistant Managers and Sales Associates
- Delegate projects and tasks to management and staff members
- Monitor completion of assigned responsibilities and follow up as needed
- Train new employees and oversee ongoing employee development
- Foster a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment
Administrative Responsibilities
- Track key metrics, run and review operational and sales reports
- Maintain store standards and policy and procedure compliance
- Assist with implementing new processes and operational improvements
- Utilize Point of Sale system and other apps to manage store operations
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist customers with product recommendations and education
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Support the company's commitment to pet health and nutrition education
Qualifications
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing employee performance and accountability
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Preference for pet industry experience and pet nutrition knowledge
