The Club at Glenmore is situated in a private residential community about five miles east of Charlottesville on rt. 250. We are currently seeking a garde-manger with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for food.
While our preference is to find someone who is a good full-time fit, this could also be a part-time position split between two candidates—please let us know your preference when applying. Health insurance available for all full-time team members, and there is room for professional growth for the right candidate. While this is a morning cold prep position, if you have any interest in picking up an occasional evening on the hot line there are no late nights, the restaurant closes 8-9pm depending on the season.
Job Summary:
- Support the delivery and execution of quality food service to members and guests

Work cold prep/production when needed - this will be the bulk of the job: pantry, salads, and desserts

The ability to fill in on the hot line if needed would be great too

Stocking stations when needed

Maintain kitchen cleanliness

Manage and rotate inventory when needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous culinary experience needed
