Duties
- Conduct live, interactive Spanish conversation sessions tailored to each student’s proficiency level and learning goals
- Develop and adapt instructional materials that enhance conversational skills and cultural understanding
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging participation and providing constructive feedback
- Utilize online teaching tools effectively to manage lessons, track progress, and engage students visually and audibly
- Support students in building confidence through personalized coaching and motivational techniques
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and lesson plans for ongoing improvement
- Collaborate with program coordinators to refine teaching strategies and ensure high-quality instruction
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to create an engaging virtual learning atmosphere
- Experience developing instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience in online instruction settings
- Familiarity with working with children in educational environments
- Background in teaching foreign languages, especially Spanish, with a focus on conversational fluency
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey concepts and motivate learners
- Experience in coaching or mentoring students to achieve language proficiency goals
- Childcare or youth programs teaching experience is a plus but not required
