HVAC Field Superintendent- Commercial Projects
Record Energy Concepts is a trusted leader in commercial HVAC construction, specializing in new construction, tenant improvements, and mechanical system retrofits. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Field Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial construction projects.
Job Summary
The Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, managing installation crews, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical to maintaining project schedules, productivity, and customer satisfaction on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Supervise HVAC installation crews and subcontractors on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate daily activities with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and vendors
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
- Monitor project schedules, manpower, material deliveries, and equipment usage
- Conduct quality control inspections and proactively resolve field issues
- Maintain accurate daily reports, jobsite documentation, and progress updates
- Enforce company safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on all job sites
- Support project completion goals by maintaining productivity and workmanship standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC construction
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or superintendent role
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, ductwork, piping, and controls
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and mechanical plans
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
