Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Meat Packaging Associate to join our team. This position includes packaging meat products, labeling, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and assisting with general production duties.
Duties
- Package and label meat products
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including grinders, slicers, vacuum pack machines.
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, packaging procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assist with production and general duties as needed
- Work the Meat Counter-help customers get what they need.
- End of Day Clean up-Clean Equipment such as grinder, saw, slicers.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse work, or food packaging is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Part Time Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, 12:00 AM–6:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM -5:00 PM
